Downtown Maryland Bethesda Condominiums & Beyond!
Although a lot of the new Bethesda condo construction is marketed towards the high-end buyers at $800-$1000/sq. ft., some conversions and resales are more affordably priced in the $600/sq ft. bracket. Like NYC, Bethesda is producing new condos where the price per square foot increases as the square footage increases. Because there are few "large" condos (anything larger than 2000 sq. ft.), these units are premium priced and usually the fastest to sell.
The upcoming phase of condo development in Bethesda will encompass the Woodmont Triangle area, which has been rezoned to allow for more density, height and the inclusion of first floor retail. Look for increased business investment opportunities in downtown Bethesda as the local condo market continues to expand.
