Free Concerts in Downtown Bethesda

In a previous post, I congratulated the developers of the new Bethesda Lane for their creation of such a user friendly space. Now they’ve gone one better by scheduling  FREE Concerts on Bethesda Lane every Wednesday from 6-8 pm, through September 24th

 The schedule is as follows:
July 9 - Night & Day Band (Jazz)
July 16 - Donato with Felicia (Jazz)
July 23 - Teiber String Quartet (Classical)
July 30 - Scott Harlan (Adult Contemporary)
August 6 - Dan Haas (Lounge/Pop)
August 13 - Taylor Carson (Alternative/Pop)
August 20 - The Meritxell Project (Jazz)
August 27 - Ewabo (Steel Drums)
September 3 - Alte Kameraden with Alpine Horns (German)
September 10 - DC Motors (Oldies)
September 17 - Sol  Y Rumba (Latin/Salsa)
September 24 - Peat & Barley (Celtic)

The organizers report that blankets and lawn chairs are welcomed and ask that you call 301-998-8395 in the event of rain, or if you need further information.

Remember that Bethesda Lane is for pedestrians only and connects Elm and Bethesda, close to Arlington.
