Forest Hills Real Estate
Known mainly for its high end single family properties, many of which are tucked next to park land, Forest Hills is also the home to several large high rise condos and coops. The largest of these, Van Ness Centre, is a complex that is made up of four separate buildings – one is rental, one is predominantly commercial, one is condo ownership and one is a coop.
There are many other coops and condos lining Connecticut Avenue that are a part of the Forest Hills subdivision. The Van Ness metro station makes commuting easy for areas that are metro-accessible and the Connecticut Avenue corridor takes drivers either downtown or out to the Maryland suburbs. The neighborhood houses the Hillwood Museum and Gardens and is also home to the notable Levine School of Music.
