The townhomes are a bit unusual in that they have condo ownership, with the associating maintaining the exteriors of all the properties, as well as the grounds. There are actually two separate condo associations that govern Kenwood Forest, depending on location within the community.

Dating back to just after World War II, Kenwood Forest was originally built as rental housing. The conversion to condo ownership was begun in the late 1970s and completed in three phases. Although there are a couple of one level apartment-style units, most are two to three level townhome style with two, three and four bedrooms. Many owners have added decks and, in recent years, renovations have included dramatic kitchen and bath updates.

Kenwood Forest units are mostly priced in the $500ks and $600ks.
