More About Massachusetts Avenue Heights DC
The small Massachusetts Heights neighborhood is bounded by Massachusetts Avenue to the southwest, Woodley Road to the north, Wisconsin Avenue to the west and 34th Street NW to the east. Since the neighborhood consists of such a small area of land, its residential section is quite limited. In fact, a small, triangular piece of land located between Garfield Street and Massachusetts Avenue is the only residential area within the neighborhood.
Massachusetts Avenue Heights Home Prices
Since residential space is so limited, it doesn't come as much of a surprise to learn that homes in the neighborhood tend to have relatively high price tags. While there are some homes available in the area within the $1 million to $2 million price range, it is not uncommon for homes in the area to sell for as much as $20 million. Many of these higher priced homes feature custom millwork, friezes and large indoor and outdoor entertaining spaces.
Landmarks of Mass. Ave Heights
Some major landmarks and attractions can be found in and around the Massachusetts Heights neighborhood, including the Washington National Cathedral. Residents also enjoy excellent educational opportunities, which are provided by the Beauvoir Elementary School as well as by the St. Albans private boy's school and the National Cathedral, which is a private girl's school located conveniently near to the neighborhood.
