As a designated historic district, located in Upper Northwest DC, Cleveland Park features numerous restored homes from the 1800s and 1900s. While all of Cleveland Park is filled with beautiful historic homes, some of the finest estates in the neighborhood can be found on Ordway, Porter, Lowell, Newark and Macomb streets. A number of large century-old single family homes and rowhouses can also be found around the community’s most popular landmark, the Washington National Cathedral. The area around the cathedral from Fulton Street to Woodley Road and Wisconsin Avenue serves as a sub-neighborhood known as Cathedral Heights.
Home Prices in Cleveland Park? They vary but anywhere frm the low one millions to multi-million is a fair start. Those homes that are "rich" in architecture and are located on large lots generally cost between $2 million and $6 million. Prices do vary considerably within the neighborhood depending upon the architectural significance, age and location. Those that are located within the Cleveland Park Historical District will typically command a much higher price.
Residents of Cleveland Park enjoy a very “walkable” community and can take advantage of the many shops and restaurants on both Wisconsin and Connecticut Avenues. It’s a great place to live!!
