Yale Steam Laundry once washed clothes for the White House, but was recently converted to a 12-story, 270-unit building, with NY-style lofts, a roof-top pool, a billiards room, a fitness center, and garage parking. Â Converted in 2008, Yale Steam Laundry manages to offer the modern amenities while retaining the building's historic charm.
